He claims that all he wants is another vampire ...until Toni Duncan comes along. Toni's best-friend is locked up in a psycho ward, deemed insane when she confesses that vampires attacked her. The only way to get her out is for Toni to prove that vampires exist. So Toni comes up with a plan: make Ian lose control, and beg him to transform her. He's reluctant - for he's deeply in love with Toni, and doesn't want to act too fast - and a passionate chase ensues.
