Description of this Book

Included in the new content are the following changes: New fee data due to fee updates in July 2010 and GST changes (Oct 2010); The Land Transport Driver Licensing Amendment Rule 2011 which saw a number of changes that affect licence holders. This led to updates regarding supervisors, restricted license driving conditions, name change confirmation, international drivers, and the test day check list; The Land Transport Road Safety and Other Matters Amendment Act introduced new relicensing requirements in April 2011 for drivers who have been disqualified or whose licences have been suspended. These drivers have to now reinstate their licence or have a new one issued before being able to legally resume driving. This also includes new information on demerit points and the impounding of vehicles; The Land Transport Road Safety and Other Matters Amendment Act introducing the zero alcohol limit for drivers under the age of 20, effective August 2011; In the same month the minimum driving age increased to 16 years; The changes to the restricted driver licence tests which came into effect in February 2012. These changes introduced the three different stages of licence testing and made the tests harder than they were previously; The two Give Way rule changes, effective in late March.
