Author's Bio

Joy Cowley is one of New Zealand's best loved writers. She has written five novels, over 40 children's picture books, four books featuring New Zealand spirituality along with many other articles, poems and shorter works. She has won many NZ and International awards including an OBE for services to children's literature and was made a Distinguished Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 2005. She lives with her husband in Wellington, NZ. All royalties from Joy and Terry's three Psalm Titles go to Karunui Illam, the orphanage sponsored by Jean Watson in South India.
