Author's Bio

Martin Waddell is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest living writers of books for children. He has won many awards for his work, including the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2004. Martin lives in Northern Ireland. Christian Birmingham is an acclaimed illustrator and has been shortlisted for the Kurt Maschler Award and the Kate Greenaway Medal (twice). He lives in London.
