Author's Bio

Canadian writer Alison Lohans has written numerous books for children and young adults. She has twice won the Young Readers' Choice Award for the South Saskatchewan Reading Council/Saskatchewan Writers Guild and most of her books appear on the Canadian Children's Book Centre Our Choice . Alison Lohans has two other novels in the Nitty Gritty Series: Doppelganger (level 1), River Rat (level 3) and This Land We Call Home (level 2), which won the 2008 Saskatchewan Book Awards Young Adult award.
