Description of this Book
Just who was Gawain, where was Camelot and what was the Holy Grail? In An A to Z of King Arthur and the Holy Grail, bestselling author Simon Cox and acclaimed writer Mark Oxbrow reveal all the answers you will ever need in this easy-to-read reference manual to the Arthurian myths and legends. Written in a clear and concise style, this lead title in a new A to Z series opens the Arthurian landscape to a whole new audience who want the facts behind the fiction. The Arthurian legends are perennial favourites, with a host of books appearing on the subject over the past few years. This A to Z guide is an essential reference manual for all seekers of the truth and those on a quest to understand the true meaning of the Holy Grail. Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code has brought the Holy Grail, and what it may mean, to the attention of a huge audience over the past year, but many people still have unanswered questions and remain confused over the meaning and theories behind the Grail. This A to Z will both enlighten and entertain, giving detailed references in an easy-to-understand format and explaining all of the latest theories about both King Arthur and the legendary Holy Grail. This is a great introduction to a wonderful landscape of myths and legends.
