The third volume in the three-volume series containing the complete correspondence between the two distinguished Maori scholars and statesmen Sir Apirana Ngata and Sir Peter Buck. There were 174 letters in all, most of them written after Buck had left New Zealand to join the staff of the Bernice P Bishop Museum in Hawaii. Vol III contains an epilogue and the index to all three volumes.
