Description of this book
Poppa McPhee has decided to make a cake but he's all out of eggs. In hilarious rhyme we follow Poppa?s trip to buy the eggs, during which he gets distracted by a super-sizzler of a car. He completely forgets about eggs as he drives his wonderful car but then one noise after another shows that this car is not the beauty he thought it was. In the end the cackling noise from the boot proves to be a hen nesting and Poppa gets his eggs after all. At last, an energetic grandfather to rival Grandma McGarvey.
