Author's Bio

Alice Tawhai is of Tainui and Nga Puhi descent. Her life has covered a vast range of experiences, and this is reflected in her writing. Her previous short story collections are Festival of Miracles and Luminous, and she thinks of writing stories as being like painting with words.
