Author's Bio

Sandy McKay is a Dunedin based writer. She holds a BA in political science from Otago University and she began writing in 1987. She has written for many magazines and newspapers, including Kiwi Parent Magazine, and she has had twelve books published. Her junior fiction novel Recycled won the New Zealand Post Children's Book Award in 2002 and she was the writer-in-residence at Dunedin College of Education in the same year.
