By Wyatt, KenBy Hough, Richard
With a unique format, using worked examples in parallel with explanatory text, this fifth edition of a bestseller gives readers a basic understanding of the behaviour of building structures. It covers loads and reactions; moments and shears; and stresses and deflections. While th...e explanatory parts of the text explain these structural principles clearly and concisely, the worked examples test readers understanding as they work through. Backed up with real-world case studies this is the ideal combination of theory and practice, qualitative and quantitative understanding for architects and construction project managers.Read more
