Susan Price is a born and breed Wellingtonian with a love of children's books. She is renowned for her large, personal collection gifted to the National Library of NZ and documented in her Books for Life, 1991. She is an historian, graduating from Victoria University and she has set the story in Edwardian era paying close attention to historical detail. She has always loved the history of Wellington's people and buildings.
