Author's Bio

Hi, my name is Olly and I'm 10 years old. I really like cicadas, so much so that I wrote a whole book about them! My book is called "Cicadas of New Zealand" and it describes New Zealand's 42 cicadas, with lots of colour photographs and location maps to help people identify cicadas that they find. I wrote this book as I wanted to learn more about cicadas and there weren't any books on cicadas for me to read. There are some really cool cicadas out there, and hopefully this book will help people to find them and to realise how great they are.
