Icelandic crime-writer Lilja Sigurdardottir was born in the town of Akranes in 1972 and raised in Mexico, Sweden, Spain and Iceland. An award-winning playwright, Lilja has written four crime novels, with Snare, the first in a new series, hitting bestseller lists worldwide. The film rights have been bought by Palomar Pictures in California. Lilja has a background in education and has worked in evaluation and quality control for preschools in recent years. She lives in Reykjavik with her partner. Suzannah Hampton is a British actor who trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has worked predominantly in theatre and as a voice artist. Her roles include: Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Celia in As You Like It, Ruby in Pavement and Ellie in I Remember Green. She has also been a voice on The Economist Online and New Scientist. Suzannah delights in giving voices to characters and telling their stories.
