Marjorie Agosin is the author of dozens of books of poetry, criticism, cultural history, and memoir. She is also the recipient of the UN Human Rights Award and the Jeanetta Rankin Human Rights Award, as well as the Latina Literature Prize and the Premio Letras de Oro. She is a professor of Spanish and Latin American studies at Wellesley College.
