Glyn Strange has written several books (The Arts Centre of Christchurch then and now, Brief Encounters, The Little Theatre and a pamplet-style version of No Glory Without Effort). His work in establishing and directing the Christchurch School for Young Writers for 25 years prevented further writing, but as a publisher he has created many fine books for others, especially young writers. After retiring from the School for Young Writers in December 2017, he had time to do some writing of his own.
