Would you like to write a novel? Would you like clear instructions on the steps you need to develop your writing process and write a book? Writing a novel is a creative process which can become overwhelming. I've worked with many new writers over the years and the one thing they ...really want to know is not the 'what' but the 'how' of writing a novel. According to the Oxford dictionary, a blueprint is '. . . something which acts as a plan, model or template for others'. This does not downgrade the importance of art when it comes to storytelling. The art of novelising is your voice. For those of you worried that using a blueprint might dampen your creative spirit, put that thought away. A blueprint is just a framework. Used correctly, it will support and strengthen your story. You get to decorate it however you like. This book is for you if you want to write your first novel and need to know the basics of the craft. And if you're halfway through your manuscript and freaking out because your story has become an uncontrollable monster baby. Also, if you've written a few novels but are looking to refine your writing process. This book is not for you if you know everything there is to know about writing a novel and have no time for learning anything new on the subject! Remember, whatever anyone tells you, we need more storytellers in the world. I hope this book helps you to achieve your novel writing goals. I wrote it because I really needed this book when I started out and it wasn't there.Read more
