Description of this Book

The Less is More Garden shows how to make the most of the average-sized yard. Garden designer Susan Morrison focuses on the positives of having less land: a small yard takes less time to design, install, and care for, and when you have less land, it s easier to make every single square foot uniquely yours. She offers dozens of savvy how-to tips on personalizing your space to match your lifestyle, draws on her many years of experience to recommend smart plants that provide seasonal interest, and recommends hardscape materials that match your aesthetic. Throughout, tips are supplemented by inspiring photographs that show a variety of successful designs from around the country. Whether you want a yard that gives you kids room to roam or one that provides privacy from nosy neighbors, The Less Is More Garden is a must-have first step in the process.
