Moonman has often wondered what the glowing blue globe is that he can
see from his home on the moon. But when he hitches a ride on a passing
shooting star, he finds a world on earth that is completely different to his

Ned Barraud is a talented illustrator with a passion for New Zealand's wildlife. His work has been published frequently in the School Journal, and he illustrated Under the Ocean, At the Beach, In the Garden and The Earthquake and the Butterfly. He works at Weta Digital as a texture artist and lives in Wellington, spending lots of time by the sea with his three young children.
