What if you had the chance to re-imagine your past? Every night, Marc Laurent, an American taken hostage in Pakistan, is bound and blindfolded. And every night, a woman he knows only as Josephine comes to visit him. At first, her questions are mercenary: who will pay for his rele...ase? But when Marc can offer no name, she asks him an even more difficult question: why didn't he go home for his daughter's funeral? So begins a strange and yet comforting nightly ritual. Josephine tells Marc stories about what might have happened had Claire not been murdered. In turn, Marc begins to tell his own, in which his daughter is still alive. Soon, neither Marc nor Josephine are sure which stories are true and which are imagined, or even if it matters. And as they unfold - on a journey across America, into the past, and into a future that may never come - father and daughter start to find their way toward understanding each other once again. Lyrical, seductive and utterly compelling, Daniel Lowe's debut novel All That's Left To Tell is a story of second chances and the stories we tell to make sense of ourselves.

All That's Left to Tell is a debut novel about Marc Laurent, a mid-level executive taken hostage in Karachi. Aside from his guards, his only interaction is with a mysterious woman he knows as Josephine. In their first meetings, Josephine tells Marc that they've called his company..., they've called his ex-wife, whom else can they call for ransom money? Marc says there is no one else. And then Josephine asks Marc a question that is even more frightening than his captivity-why didn't he go home last month for his daughter's funeral, after she was murdered? So begins a bizarre yet somewhat comforting ritual, in which every night Josephine visits Marc in his cell. She tells him stories, including stories about what would have happened had his daughter not been murdered. Marc, in turn, begins to tell his own stories, in which his daughter is alive. And soon it's not clear which storyline is real, and which is imagined, and if it even matters. Throughout the course of these stories (and stories within stories), father and daughter start to find their way toward understanding one another once again. Atmospheric and exquisitely structured, Daniel Lowe's searing debut is a tribute to the redemptive power of storytelling.

Truth is Stranger than Fiction Mark TwainAs a researcher of the antiquities of the Americas for nearly 30 years now, I have learned certain guidelines or rules that I have apply to my research. Among them are The Orthodox Belief is usually a distorted belief. In other words, it i...s what the majority is doing or believes and is likely the wrong thing. Another such belief is, there is opposition in all things, in an effort to find the truth of a matter, one must attempt to prove as well as disprove, after all, isn't it the truth that we want? But, if one sets out with an agenda to disprove something, all they will find will be based on what they are pre programmed to believe. If one sets out to prove something, what they find in supposed support of it, is all they will see. And one last thing, there is a pattern in ALL things... But few will learn to apply these guidelines (and many others) until the time when it will be too late...I have found that the first words in a story are the most difficult to put to paper when discussing documentation, or the facts of any given topic. The following project or topic has been an interest of mine for many years, but certainly did not take the position of priority. About 1 year ago, a document was sent to me that would change all of that It was a map of a ghost town, a town with a seemingly mysterious past. The objective of the person who sent the map to me was to learn the location of what it depicted. Upon the map was a river, a railroad, and certain specifics which seemed to lead to a nearby Confederate cache site. It according to the map was one of the larger of KGC cache sites in the western United States. The KGC (Knights of the Golden Circle) or Confederate Underground, which will be noted as CU for the remainder of this work. The CU has been grossly misunderstood in what this Civil War era organization stood for, and what they attempted to accomplish. As you might guess, history has it all backwards. The purpose of this book

Since the time of the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus the man credited for the discovery of the new world, the new comers to the world have observed and documented the things which they seen, heard and experienced. The new comers to this world saw the ruins of what appeared... as intricately built ancient cities, observed strange yet familiar habits of the indigenous. It wasn't until the mid 19th century that archaeology was even taken serious in this land, yet it would seem as though it was not for the purpose of documentation and understanding of those of the past. 100 years or so earlier Sir Richard Colt Hoare coined the motto for Antiquarianism in Europe, We Speak from Facts not Theory and it would seem here in the Americas, John W Powell and Ephraim George Squire after the creation of the Smithsonian Institution, together reconstructed and change the purpose of the existence of Smithsonian with what would seem to be their motto, We Speak from Theory not from Facts.Since the days Smithsonian took a new path due to the influences of men such as Powell and Squire, thousands if not tens of thousands of artifacts and ruins have been dusted under the rug and or buried in the depths of Smithsonian, with a system of control and a constant threat of taking away their funding exist to this day over the heads of the Museums of this Nation. A threat of mockery and striping of ones title, destroying the ability of making a living in the archaeological world, hangs over the heads of many archaeologist today. The dictatorship of archaeology was now set up, the new religion of Atheism with its Bible of Manifest Destiny and Evolution, but what was the motive? Why would a group of men want to hide the history of this land? What was it that could have motivated the two sons of Methodist Ministers in Palmyra New York in 1830? I just can't put my finger on it.To this day thousands of unusual artifacts remain hidden in the basements of Museums across this land with no explanation
