The Valley and Promise of a Christmas Star is dedicated to God, who sends His spiritual messengers, Aka, to prepare a way within our hearts and minds for the coming of the Messiah. In 1979, angels led Ray Elkins to follow a route called Christmas Star to a promised land. And there..., in 1982, he was guided to build a church, that he dedicated simply to God. Above the church on the mountain he blessed a healing spring--after a lady in white, the Virgin Mary, healed the sight of a blind man. Later, in a sacred ceremony, those who wished to enter were guided to step for a short while into a new heaven and new earth which can be upon the Earth, if we prepare a way within ourselves first, and then others. This book tells this story--in the angels own words. We say unto you, now is a great time, a wonderful time, a time when he for whom you have waited is close at hand. From the valley of the Lord that lies within-to a vision of a valley--to a promised land-to a step into the new world, spiritual messengers of God guide their flock of people to a land that was laid aside to be a sacred place--and they lead all who wish closer to God. If you listen to the quiet place within you, they will guide you today. For you are here, as we, but for one purpose, the preparation for the coming of the Messiah. (Spoken by the spiritual messengers of God, Aka, December 8, 1978)Unlike the series by the same name with five books, all five have been combined as chapters into this one book. So choose either this book, or choose those in the series.Chapter 1, The Valley and the Lord's People begins with a vision of a valley, where Ray Elkins rested while he was returning down the ladder from God. Ray would gather strength in this beautiful place before he entered back into his body. But while he stood with God, Aka, spiritual messengers of God, spoke many parables through his unconscious body. Soon, a valley also came to be known as a hidden place in the quiet of the mind where God dwells, where

Nature and Norm is a book about the encounter between Jewish and Christian thought and the fact-value divide that invites the unsettling recognition of the dramatic acosmism that shadows and undermines a considerable number of modern and contemporary Jewish and Christian thought ...systems.

Rabbi Gordon Fuller and Dr. Christian van Gorder are committed to helping people of both faith traditions gain, as far as is possible, a participant's appreciation of those from the other community. This means addressing misconceptions and misrepresentations as well as challengin...g widely held assumptions. Jews and Christians Together delves into the strained relationship between these two faith communities and exposes why these communities need to come to a better understanding and appreciation of the other. Events such as the attack on the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania demonstrate why society must address and foil anti-Semitism and anti-Judaism wherever and whenever such views appear. The efforts of Fuller and van Gorder to explore these issues with their own faith communities can provide a helpful starting-point to confront trends of increasing hate and bigotry towards Jews today. Fuller and van Gorder ask us to acknowledge the marred history of Christianity and anti-Semitism, so that we can explore healthy Jewish-Christian dialogue and gain a shared and constructive mutual respect.
